Question: My sweet boy stinks! I know we can’t probably give him a bath, but any suggestions? I feel bad for him. He still smells like the hospital.

We did baths two weeks ago (Otis was three months out from his amp.) Didn’t want to do it earlier, while the incision was healing and he was going through chemo (more vet visits). We hooked the hose to the inside sink (so we could control water temp) and washed both Otis and Tess outside on a warm sunny day. Otis leaned his weight against me most of the time – we have photos of the whole event on our blog. He was tired at the end of the day, but I thought he must have been so happy to have the smell of hospital (and fear and pain) off his fur. A smaller dog you could probably do inside in tub if you had a good non-slip surface and could life him in and out.
